Leadership
The Texas Master Chorale boasts outstanding professionals in artistic direction. With reputations for excellence as well as extensive records of accomplishment, Brad Bouley (Artistic Director) and Sharon Goldsberry (Accompanist) are able to attract and retain talented singers and musicians, many of whom are active or retired professional musicians.
Artistic Direction
Brad Bouley, Artistic Director and founder of the Chorale, is the Director of Fine Arts for the Tomball Independent School District, after serving as the Director of Choirs at Tomball High School for 20 years. He holds degrees from the University of Oklahoma and Sam Houston State University in Music Education and Conducting. He is active throughout the state as a choral adjudicator and clinician. Mr. Bouley is past Region Chairman of the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA), Region 9, and past Area Chairman of TMEA, Area D.
In 1993, he received the Texas Excellence Award for Outstanding Teacher Award, in 1998 the Tomball Rotary International Awardfor Community Service, and in 2008 the Tomball International Lifetime Achievement Award the Tomball International Lifetime Achievement Award for his service to Tomball Independent School District. Mr. Bouley is a member of Pi Kappa Lambda, ACDA, TCDA, TMEA, TMAC, TETA, TAEA, and TMAA. Brad and his wife have a daughter who is a Middle School Choral Director, and a son who is finishing graduate studies in vocal performance in Ohio.
Sharon Goldsberry, Accompanist, earned a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Oklahoma Baptist University, a Master of Music in Piano Performance and a Master of Music in Accompanying and Chamber Music from the University of Houston. Her career has included church organist and pianist positions, professional accompanying, concert pianist, teaching, and keyboardist for the Mid-Columbia Symphony Orchestra.
