Texas Master Chorale

Promoting the appreciation of quality choral music

Founded in 1986, the Texas Master Chorale is a mixed choral ensemble of 100 auditioned singers.

2017-2018 Concert Season

Due to the impact of Hurricane Harvey on the Greater Houston area, and in particular our regular performance venue, we have had to relocate all of our performance and reschedule our regular Fall Concert.

Tickets for all performances can be purchased by calling the box office at (281) 440-4850.

Our 2017-2018 concert season has now been finalized.

Messiah

The chorale will present the Christmas portion of Handel's Messiah on its original date and time, December 16, 2017 at 7:30 PM.  The venue has been changed, however, to Bammel Church of Christ, located at 2700 Cypress Creek Parkway.  This concert is generously sponsored by Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital.

As is our annual tradition during the Christmas season, an area high school has been invited to join us for this concert.  We are pleased to announce that the 72 voice Cypress Woods High School mixed choir, led by director Jason Womack, has enthusiastically accepted our invitation.

America's Music

Originally planned as our Fall Concert, the Chorale will perform selections from American composers, highlighting some composers from Texas, and even the Houston area.  This concert will be held on January 21, 2018 at 7:30 PM at Foundry United Methodist Church, located at 8350 Jones Road.

An Evening of Rodgers and Hammerstein

On April 7, 2018 at 7:30 PM, the Chorale will perform selections form the music library of Rodgers and Hammerstein.  This performance will also be held at Foundry United Methodist Church on Jones Road.
